Earlier in 2022, Blake suffered a severe contusion to his spinal cord (T-10 and T-12 vertebrae) resulting in paralysis from the waist down. He is currently rehabilitating at Craig Hospital in Colorado working 4-5 hours a day to try and walk again. Prior to his injury, he was a 2-time state champion tennis player at the 5A level and played varsity tennis at Cherry Creek High School in Colorado. He is currently a student at University of Texas at Austin where he is pursuing his bachelor's degree in Economics/Government.
