The tenth recipient of Swim With Mike, Jeff was a lacrosse player who lost his leg to cancer at the age of 12. He earned the honor of being the first amputee to complete the 3,300 mile Run Across America in February 1985. At the finish line in Los Angeles, Mike Nyeholt offered Jeff a scholarship to pursue his graduate studies. After earning his MBA from USC, he worked at UBS Warburg selling corporate bonds and co-founded the philanthropy Swim Across America. Jeff now occupies his time as a father of three in Connecticut.
