30Martin was left paralyzed when a bullet struck him from a passing car while he was an explorer scout. While at USC, he helped form a wheelchair basketball league and graduated with a communications minor and a bachelor’s degree in news, media, and society. Martin is happily married, and his first daughter was born in 2003. On March 14, 2005, he had a boy. He currently resides in Fresno.
